SAN DIEGO GULLS (AHL) 26-35-10, 63 PTS.

NOTES:

SAN DIEGO posted a 26-35-10 record this season, totaling 63 points. The club earned standings points in six of their last 10 games (3-4-3).

ANDREW AGOZZINO scored 26-38=64 points to set the Gulls all-time single-season record for points, surpassing Sam Carrick’s 62 in 2018-19. He eclipsed the 60-point plateau for the fourth time in his career and second consecutive season (26-38=64), while setting a new career high in assists and matching his career high in points (30-34=64, 2014-15 w/ Lake Erie). Agozzino led San Diego in scoring, goals and assists.

TOMAS SUCHANEK posted a 14-10-5 record with a 2.92 GAA and .910 SV% this season while ranking seventh among AHL rookie goaltenders in SV% and GAA. He stopped 42-of-45 shots in regulation and OT to earn his 14th win of the season, Apr. 21 @ Coachella.

TREVOR CARRICK reached the 40-point mark for the fifth time in his career and second consecutive season (9-35=44). He led San Diego blueliners in scoring, goals and assists while he ranked sixth in the AHL in points and assists.

GLEN GAWDIN eclipsed the 50-point plateau for the second time in his career (22-33=55) and set career-highs in scoring and goals this season. He ranked second among Gulls leaders in scoring and goals and tied for third in assists.

CHASE DE LEO led the Gulls in points-per-game (.92) this season and ranked third among team leaders in scoring and assists and fifth in goals.

NIKITA NESTERENKO led Gulls rookie skaters in scoring (15-21=36), goals and assists this season. He recorded 1-2=3 points in the first period of San Diego’s final game of the season Apr. 21 @ Coachella, tying the Gulls record for points in a single period (19 times, last: G. Gawdin, Feb. 10, 2024 @ CGY).

PAVOL REGENDA tallied 19-15=34 points this season, setting career-highs in goals, asssists and scoring. Regenda ranked third among Gulls leaders in goals and sixth in scoring.

BLAKE MCLAUGHLIN led all Tulsa skaters in postseason scoring (0-4=4) and assists through four Kelly Cup Playoff games.

NORTH AMERICAN PROSPECTS - JUNIORS

NOTES:.

YEGOR SIDOROV leads the WHL Playoffs in goals (10), and paces Saskatoon in goals and points (10-4=14) points with a +8 rating through nine postseason games. Sidorov scored hat tricks in back-to-back games in Game 3 April 16 (3-0=3) and Game 4 April 17 vs. Red Deer (3-2=5). Saskatoon will begin their Conference Finals series this Friday vs. Moose Jaw.

RODWIN DIONICIO is second among OHL defensemen in playoff goals (3), scoring 3-5=8 points with a +3 rating through 11 postseason games. He also paces Spirit defensemen in goals and points. Saginaw will begin their Western Conference Championship Series Friday vs. the London Knights.

VOJTECH PORT has four assists (0-4=4) with a +6 rating through nine WHL Playoff games. Moose Jaw will face Saskatoon in the WHL Semifinal series.

NOAH WARREN ranks second among QMJHL blueliners in assists (8) and co-leads Victoriaville with eight assists through nine QMJHL Playoff games. Warren has helped the Tigres to an 8-1 record in the postseason, and will face Drummondville in the Conference Finals.

NORTH AMERICAN PROSPECTS - NCAA

NOTES:

CUTTER GAUTHIER led the NCAA with 38 goals at Boston College (Hockey East) this season, tied for the most goals in a single season in program history and the most by an NCAA player since 1999-00. Gauthier helped Boston College to an appearance in the 2024 NCAA Championship game, scoring 38-27=65 points with a +23 rating in 41 games in 2023-24. He also led the NCAA in game-winning goals (10), was second in points and tied for second in power-play goals (13). He was named a Hobey Baker Hat Trick Finalist, NCAA All-American and Hockey East First Team All-Star.

EUROPEAN PROSPECTS

NOTES:

DAMIAN CLARA won 10 of his 11 playoff appearances (10-1), helping Brynas earn promotion to the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He led all HockeyAllsvenskan goaltenders in postseason wins, GAA (1.68) and SV% (.931). At 19 years old, Clara is the youngest-ever goaltender to lead a team to promotion in the SHL while posting the best GAA in qualification history (minimum 10 games). He is also one of four goalies in qualification history to win 10 games, with the other three all 27 and older.

ALBIN SUNDSVIK has helped Rogle reach the SHL Finals, scoring two times in the first round vs. Timra, earning an assist in the Semifinals and has tallied a goal in the Finals. Rogle swept Timra in the first round, Farjestad in the SHL Quarterfinals and Vaxjo in the Semifinals and currently trail Skelleftea 2-1 in their series.
